Cat Summoner

What is the feasibility/playability of a Summoner who only summoned cats? I bet you could find different strength cats in various monster books to equate to every summoning spell: House cats, lynx, bobcat, cougar, cheetah, jaguar, leopard, lion, tiger, sabertooth, etc. I think it would be fun, but I'm a big cat fan (that is, a fan of cats larger than house cats).

Vaervenshyael was hungry a lot. She had put on over 5 lbs, while still doing all the activity she was used to doing. Some mornings she woke up mad. Very mad. On the day she thought she might finally talk the party into returning to Padua (after all, Tankred's sword would not be finished for months yet), the dwarf guard entered the inn where the party was staying and requested the party join them at the gates to the Temple of Verena. Apparently the gates had been closed for some time, and the party members were the

Doctor  Johann Wilhelm Woeller  - Human Physician Van Duster - Mercenary NPC ( Previous Notes ) Tankred kicked open yet another set of double doors. Inside was a pile of bones with a seat on top. In the seat was a humanoid in disturbing armor, borne by those Chosen of Chaos. The creature's helmet was shaped like the visage of Abdul Al Shar. He exuded chaos and terror. Johann and Vaervenshyael failed their terror tests. Tankred and Wilhelm attacked. Before the battle was over, Vaervenshyael failed 3 Terror tests, which lead to 3 Insanity Points, and 1 mental disability. For the disability, she rolled Host of Fiends. She will have to pass a Willpower test daily or be taken over by an Aspect of Khorne! This fits in perfectly with the campaign and her background. After Tankred unleas

Did I Play an X Card?

It finally happened. My Warhammer character failed a Terror test, and then failed her Insanity check. The GM said we'd get around to finding my disability later, and my character failed 3 Terror checks in a row, so I had plenty of time during combat to look up the options of mental disabilities. By the time combat was done, I had looked through them all. There were some that seemed to fit my situation better than others, and there were two I wasn't interested in playing at all. I spend every workday dealing intimately with addicts. It gets to be very taxing at times. During my game time, I don't want to have to roleplay a weirdroot or mandrake addict or an alcoholic. That's just no fun to me, though I could probably do it with uncanny accuracy. When the time came to roll, I stated these feelings out in the open. Luckily I rolled one of the disabilities that seemed to fit my situation perfectly. I'm sure the GM would have let me reroll if I had rolled one of

Doctor  Johann Wilhelm Woeller  - Human Physician Van Duster - Mercenary NPC ( Previous Notes ) Tankred was impatient to get this quest over with. He kicked in the first door on the left, into what looked like a stable. Two gunshots rang out from a wraith-like creature wielding pistols. Vaervenshyael tried to shove Tankred away from the doorway and out of the line of fire. Unfortunately, the creature's aura held Vaervenshyael in the grip of fear and she couldn't move. When Vaervenshyael broke the spell of fear and she could move, she wanted to stay as far away from the monstrosity as possible. She pulled her own pistols and fired...with very little effect. She was forced to pull her hand weapons and engage. Her first attack with her rapier killed the creature that Tankred

The doctor tended to his wounds. Tankred began burning cultist bodies. The Verenan started mumbling. "They've opened the portal...they sent Felix and Gustav to retrieve the stone...They know...They know about the talisman." There is a door on one side of the room that the priest is looking toward. Vaervenshyael listens. Crickets. It could be a pleasant outdoor evening on the other side of the door...only the party is underground. The door is a portal to another dimension. There was much debate about turning around and going back
